Landing on the real Namek at the end was the only part worth watching, especially after Gohan and Krillin had to struggle against random monsters on a planet that didn't even exist

I was so done with Raiti and Zaacro by the time they left and landing on the real Namek was the only good part

That whole trick with the fake Namek lasted way too many episodes and seeing the trio finally arrive at their actual destination is the only good thing about this one

Krillin and Gohan fighting that giant sea monster was okay for a bit, but the whole fake Namek thing is just frustrating to sit through because it feels like the story is moving in slow motion, so I was happy when they finally touched down on the real Namek at the very end instead of dealing with those two illusion aliens anymore

You can tell the writers were just stalling for the manga to catch up since that sea monster fight had zero stakes and went on for way too long

Watching the same three scenes over and over was exhausting until they actually reached Namek and that fake planet nonsense is over with

Bulma and the guys getting tricked by those weird aliens felt like such a massive waste of time because nothing they did on that planet actually mattered for the real mission

I cannot believe I sat through that giant stone monster fight just for it to be a fakeout and these guys are so gullible and when do we get to the real Namek

the transition to vegeta on planet frieza no 79 was the highlight because it actually feels like the stakes are real compared to the goofy giant hunt going on with the main group

zaacro and raiti are so suspicious from the start and it is painful watching the heroes fall for their act while the real threat is still out there somewhere

i have such a soft spot for this weird little detour and seeing bulma deal with all the bizarre hazards on this planet brought back that old school dragon ball adventure feeling

Krillin is trying his best to be the leader here, and even though he's getting played by those fake Namekians, his dedication to bringing back Piccolo is still really touching to watch

I'm really torn because I know this is all fake Namek stuff and none of it actually matters for the real story, but those two weird aliens Zaacro and Raiti are actually pretty creepy with how they trick everyone. It makes the search feel so much more desperate when you see Gohan and Krillin trying so hard to find the balls

the plot is moving at a snails pace and having them find dragon balls that aren't even real just feels like a slap in the face for everyone waiting to get to namek

seeing vegeta healing up in that tank on planet frieza is the only thing keeping things interesting while bulma and the others waste time on this fake planet

watching this on my dvd was such a mess because the sound effects were totally missing and hearing just the voices and music made the fight scenes feel so empty

i actually kind of liked that giant fight and it was cool seeing the kids use their powers even if this whole thing is clearly filler that didn't happen in the manga

starting to realize this whole planet is just one big stall and seeing gohan and krillin get tricked by these weirdos zaacro and raiti is honestly so annoying

You can really tell the anime is just stalling for time with this Zaacro character and these weird adventures on a planet that is not even Namek

I really hated seeing Gohan get tricked by that fake Namekian, but Goku training in the hospital was a nice break from the filler
