I am so here for the school setting and Gohan being a total nerd who can also stop a crime in two seconds flat without breaking a sweat

Videl is already onto him after like five minutes and it makes the school scenes so tense for no reason while he just smiles and hopes for the best

Episode Context

Landing at episode 200 of 291, this is the definitive launch point of the Great Saiyaman/World Tournament saga, set years after the defeat of Cell. The long stretch of intense battles and the Cell saga's dramatic conclusion are firmly in the rearview mirror, and this episode builds the civilian foundation that Gohan's next major arc will grow from. It introduces key new dynamics, including Gohan's double life and his connection to Satan City, that directly feed into the escalating events leading toward the Buu saga.
