Episode Context

Sitting at episode 165 of 291, this falls deep into the Cell Games arc, the climax of the Android/Cell saga that has been escalating since the future timeline warnings and Android arrivals. The preceding episodes focused on training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber and Cell's challenge to the world's fighters, and this episode marks the transition into the actual tournament that will define the saga's resolution. Everything from here pushes toward the decisive battles that will reshape the series heading into the Buu saga.
