It is so brutal seeing Yajirobe and the others get taken down in the flashbacks and it makes the stakes for this fight with Cell feel so much heavier

I can't get over how bleak the future timeline scenes feel, especially with the way the androids were just casually destroying cities and killing everyone. It actually feels like a horror movie compared to the main show and seeing Future Gohan struggle against them made me realize how much pressure Trunks has been dealing with this whole time trying to change things

The way Cell just toys with Trunks while he gets all bulky and slow makes it so obvious that brute strength is useless and Goku was totally right about that form

The contrast between the present fight and those dark memories of the future really shows why Trunks is so desperate to win even if he makes mistakes with his power

Seeing Future Gohan actually show up was such a highlight because you finally see the mentor who had to carry the world alone before he died

I really felt for Trunks watching those flashbacks and seeing how the androids just wiped everyone out like it was nothing and his timeline is just a total nightmare

The lightning and the rain while Trunks was screaming over Gohan was way more intense than I remembered and it explains why he is so aggressive now

People keep saying the TV special did Gohan's death better, but seeing it here again still hits hard. Trunks losing his mentor and then trying to take out Cell with that bulked-up form shows how desperate he is to fix everything. It's tragic because he's gained so much power but he still looks like that kid in the rain.

My heart sank when I saw Trunks finally go super saiyan over Gohan's body and that flash of gold in the rain was so heavy

It is weird how the timeline changes every time because Yajirobe is gone in this version and it adds to the confusion about how Trunks' world actually works

Cell just stands there looking completely unbothered while Trunks powers up into that massive form and his confidence is actually terrifying

I still can't get over Gohan giving his life for Trunks, and it makes me hate those androids even more for what they did to his timeline.

Trunks looks like a literal tank with all those muscles and he really thinks he can take Cell down with just raw strength alone

The way the main cast gets wiped out by the androids in that flashback was a nightmare and it makes the current fight feel so much more desperate

I felt sick when Trunks found Gohan face down in the rain and that scream he let out was just gut wrenching

Trunks is really trying his best but he just cannot catch a break and now Cell wants to have a whole martial arts tournament instead of finishing things

Thinking about how Yajirobe died in this timeline but is somehow alive in the future later on is really confusing for the lore and everyone wonders if it was a mistake

It was a big mistake for Trunks to think he could beat Cell with just strength, and now everyone is stuck waiting for this insane tournament he decided to host

Gohan lying face down in a puddle while Trunks screams and turns super saiyan for the first time is a moment that sticks with you forever

The future version of the androids is way more scary than the ones we have now and seeing them wipe out the z fighters like it was nothing was brutal
