I think this has a bit of a hook. Though they're mainly heading toward their destination, their conversation keeps your attention. The puzzles that bothered Shin are also slowly coming to light. And oh my, what a surprising twist we have for their new-found friend!

For the pacing, it’s still a bit slow but I wouldn’t recommend skipping this episode. There are new characters introduced that will probably help or play a role in the main plot.
