Episode Context

Sitting at the season's near-midpoint, Episode 5 escalates the growing rift between Eia and Yuuga that cracked open in Episode 4, transforming philosophical disagreements about the SCM into concrete, irreversible decisions. It functions as a critical bridge episode, the exploratory phase is over, and the consequences phase begins. The conflicts and alliances reshaped here lay direct groundwork for the intensifying power struggles that will define the second half of the twelve-episode run.
