Episode Context

Sitting one-third into the 12-episode run, Episode 4 follows the escalating fallout from Episode 3's SCM duels by broadening the scope rather than pushing a single conflict forward. It functions as a bridge episode, introducing Zenichi Bunkyo and new strategic dynamics that deepen the series' exploration of the device's societal impact. The groundwork laid here directly feeds the rising tensions and more volatile confrontations expected in the mid-season stretch.
