I definitely didn't expect the final battle to play out like that. If I'll be honest, I didn't really find it climactic or incredible like I was hoping to be, especially considering how great a lot of the fight scenes were throughout the series. It felt underwheling, as it was mainly just talking and not a whole lot of fighting. The visuals are absolutely spectacular, though. The ending also leaves us with a bittersweet, but satisfying note. As for the anime itself, I liked it overall. It has an interesting premise and the action scenes are very solid. My main gripe is there are some confusing parts that make my head scratch. Despite this, I still think it's worth checking out, especially those who love sci-fi anime!

And here we are at Adrastea, the center of the calamity that happened at Easter Island. It's mostly another flashback episode, but it's here that everything is revealed to us. From the experiments run in Adrastea, Loser's tragic past, and Kyoma's role in the battle, it gives us a clear understand of what really happened. The flashback sequences in this episode are definitely the most horrifying and emotionally heavy in the series by far. The final scene is also a doozy, all set up for the final battle. I'm ready for it!

Things are really starting to get explosive at Easter Island! We see Kyoma finally waking up from him slumber, still determined to finish his mission. Unfortunately, along the way, he's now forced to go up against one of his hardest battles, both physically and emotionally. If that's not enough, now we're also seeing Loser in the fight of his life. It's a huge battle royale with so much at stake here. An absolute nailbiter of an episode!

This one is Primarily a flashback episode. In here, we see more of Kyoma's past being part of the elite Grendel unit. On top of that, we also get to see Salva's and Loser's as well. Seeing all of their past lives is nothing short of tragic. They all had their own big dreams, but life was pretty much unfair to them. On top of the emotional moments, the flashbacks also had some disturbing scenes straight out of a horror movie. I especially like the last bits where it gets really strange! A pretty good flashback episode overall.

So here we are at the main destination, Easter Island. It's ground zero of a catastrophic disaster, as well as the final resting place for most of Kyoma's old allies. The way that it's depicted in this episode is really spooky. Disheveled buildings, no signs of life, and the snowy weather gives that end of the world feel to it. They did a solid job of showcasing the state of decay. The fight scenes are also great in this one. It's cool to see other collectors showcasing their abilities other than just Kyoma and Mira. Overall, a thrilling episode with an eerie vibe to it. One last thing I have to say is that Kyoma's other car in this one is just breathtaking. I agree with Albert in this one - that engine sound is nice!

Ouch, this anime has once again hit me in the feels. The first half of the episode reveals Kyoma's tragic past. It's here that we get a glimpse of his time as part of the Grendel Team as well as his hatred of coils. If I'll be honest, his hatred of coils is understandable with what he went through. The second half is another set up to something big going down. We've got other collectors involved along with a huge sum of money for the mission at hand. It has a great build up, and I'm excited to see what will happen in this arc!

A pretty slow-paced episode, this looks to be a set up to a fresh new arc after Yasogami. We're introduced to a new set of characters, and they appear to be plotting something sketchy behind the scenes. For most of the episode, it's primarily Kyoma spending some time with his newfound "friend," a kid named Lwai. We're also delving a deeper into Kyoma's tragic past, albeit it was really brief. Not really much happens in this episode, but the last minutes of it was definitely unexpected!

Who was cutting onions while I was watching this episode? The last episode was straight up horror, but for this one, it's definitely a feel trip. In here, we get to see the truth behind the ghosts and the strange occurrences at the lake. It's still has the unsettling horror aspects from the last episode as well as the great action sequences, but it also has some emotionally heavy moments as well. My only gripe would be the explanation of why the ghosts are there, since I was confused by it (had to look it up to get some clarity, and even then, I'm still a bit iffy by it). Besides that, it's a great episode, with its dark brooding atmosphere, and moments that'll pull some heartstrings.

The action sequences are solid, chaotic, and brutal, with some intense psychological breakdowns between past and present of parallel lines. The duo are going to confront Loser, an evil mastermind will set massive high-stakes drama before end of the climax

Kyouma and Mira haven't given up to find mysteryious enemy, but they will be helped by the siblings collector, who has a clue to the intruder. because filled with more Action Sequences with a sci-fi element, i hope their journey full of Tension with Breathtaking challenges

Studios 3Hz and Orange put their maximum effort into the ultimate spatial battle, filling the screen with blazing rainbow-colored dimension trails, breaking robotic gears, and a beautiful, hopeful morning sunrise filter.

The graphics feature a heavy, dream-like light filter that blends Kyoma's suppressed memories of his late wife Miyabi with the current collapsing reality. The artistic transition between mechanical structures and organic memories is executed beautifully.

The visual production peaks as the terrifying, giant metallic sphere weapon activates, casting a blinding white aura across the ruined island sky. The animation goes completely all-out, using crisp tracking to show the absolute desperation on the collectors' faces.

The visual production leans heavily into the inner workings of Haruka Seameyer’s floating laboratory fortress, using clean holographic blueprints and buzzing red alarm systems to amplify the danger. The fluid close-up shots of spinning coil cores look exceptionally crisp.

The animators use shifting shadows, melting environmental patterns, and eerie void-black holes that swallow surrounding light to show the island breaking down. The tense tracking shots during the aerial transport crash elevate the physical stakes.

The animation leaves the bright present day behind, utilizing harsh, gritty sepia filters and heavy smoke textures to frame Kyoma's past days in the elite Grendel unit.
