Never did I expect an Akuma to quote Descartes, but here we are, we've got flaws to our mc being portrayed quite nicely, that being jumping into battle without much strategic planning, this can definitely be worked on for character development, which I am gonna be expecting.

First mission time! It's off to a pretty rough start already tho lol. There's some action between Allen and the jester looking akuma also looking for the innocence that'll prolly pick back up in the next episode.

New dynamic unlocked: Pragmatic Kanda vs. Idealistic Allen! They’re forced onto a mission together to put their compatibility to the test, giving us a better look at how the Black Order operates along with some thrilling Akuma-hunting combat. Great balance of lore and conflict.

Finally, some action! We get to see more of Innocence being used during the mission. That evolved Akuma is really creepy. But will Kanda really not help Allen despite the situation?

The mission quickly turns into a trap and everyone realizes the enemy was already ten steps ahead which is never a good sign.

Some nice action right here, first time we see Innocence actually being used and presented. The dynamic between Kanda and Allen is very much like Sasuke and Naruto, I'm sure they'll be good friends later. We also learn that Innocence causes very unpredictable situations.

A small town mystery with a haunting vibe. The investigation leans more on atmosphere and emotion than action, giving a glimpse of how tragic many Akuma cases can be.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off two episodes that established the Black Order, its mission against the Millennium Earl, and Allen's formal induction as an exorcist, this episode marks the first real field deployment of the series. It begins laying the groundwork for how exorcist missions operate and deepens the rivalry between Allen and Kanda, a dynamic that will carry significant weight across the season and beyond.
