My takeaway about this is that we birthed our own demons caused by the triggers around us such as envy, lust, pressure, conformity, loneliness, and anger. We deal with these feelings on a normal basis, but sometimes, we snap. And before we know it, the damage is already done.

Drenched in gore, this is an exciting episode. Ryo's tactics are very risky and dangerous! But i guess when you are fighting demons, you have to play dirty. Akira's compassion for other people like him is on display. Perfect pacing. On to the next.

I was really shocked by epi 6. Ryo's character keeps mixing up his identity; his actions make him a totally different person. I'm not sure if he is genuinely attempting to do some good or if he is just exploiting Akira as a subject for his own experiment. ..

This ep's plot points are anchored into the grotesque sex/violence that the series is full of. I get why some find it "gratuitous", but I think it’s quite intentional, actually. Very effective at showing how nasty humans can be. That's the point. Also the animation gets wonky

I’m really into the tension in this series. The way the story builds fear and distrust around the characters is intense, and I love watching the drama unfold—it keeps me on the edge of my seat every time.

Akira begins to realize he belongs to neither world. Humans would fear him; demons see him as a traitor. As the tension between both sides grows, Akira stands isolated in the middle, a protector who no longer fully belongs anywhere.
