The ability of the makers to depict the carnal side of the demons is absolute genius. Tying it with a failing love story and then making it into the ultimate victory but just for a moment is peak story writing in my opinion. Savage fighting scenes and good pacing.
Episode 5 really reveals how delicate people are. When fear controls a person, empathy disappears, and one starts to oppose the other. It is quite disturbing, but a very strong thing to see. Akira's compassion is even more remarkable in such a devastated world.
Hilarious! I'm not sure if it's because an ugly truth or it's because I'm already used to these kind of scenes. I remember my first time watching similar to this, I panicked and lowered the volume, lol. Love the fight scene soundtrack, and I agree with Akira's interpretation.
