This episode is mostly a "murder mystery" plot with a bit of generational gap humor at the end. Wasn't as funny as the last couple episodes imo. Kind of just felt like nothing happened. Still got some nose exhales out of me.

It felt like a tense mystery in a secluded villa until I realized the revenge plot was just one massive misunderstanding.

Classic "mansion mystery" graphics with a spooky twist. The generation gap talk during the murder investigation is the peak moment. Just to let the viewer know, Nagumo is truly a relic of the past.

A creepy mansion becomes the setting for the next case, filled with strange noises and suspicious guests. Mashiro nervously explores the hallways while Nagumo casually studies the scene. The spooky atmosphere adds a fun twist to the investigation.

Nagumo fights a smartphone and loses. Mashiro solves a "locked-room" mystery by simply kicking the door off its hinges.

The peaceful vibe finally cracks a little and now the characters are scrambling to figure out whether the chaos is bad luck or something way more deliberate.

An episode that pokes fun with a cliché scenario of detective shows while also slipping in some parodies. Later part of the episode pokes fun of generation gap between old and young people while exposing the real age of Maki.
P.S. Bikajuu is my favorite Mokemon 👍

The episode referenced the biggest names in detective anime while putting a fun twist. I love the nostalgia that the episode brought through cliched development and character and is very relatable when you put yourself in Mashiro's shoes. You can't help but smile throughout.

I’m loving the characters and the world so far. I thought this would be a serious detective anime, but it’s pure chaos. One person keeps selling nonsense and the other just buys it like it’s facts, and somehow it works 😂

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting at the one-third mark of a 12-episode run, Episode 4 follows an Episode 3 that expanded the cast and introduced detective rivalry dynamics—this entry pivots toward lighter, sketch-style storytelling that deepens character relationships without heavy plot escalation. It serves as a comedic breather that solidifies the ensemble's chemistry before Episode 5 reportedly pushes into edgier thematic territory and new narrative complications.
