This episode introduces two new characters. One of them being more of a straight man for all the nonsense going on which is nice to have. The other one is just as chaotic as Mashiro is lol. Overall a good episode, its ur run of the mill rival plot.

This felt like a classic rivalry episode. I was pretty entertained seeing Asunaro try so hard to replace Mashiro as the "genius" assistant.

Sharp, parody-heavy graphics introduce the new rivals. Asunaro's lockpicking his way into the office is the peak moment. This episode feels like the agency just got a lot more crowded.

Episode Context

After Episode 2 cemented Mashiro's resolve to assist Nagumo, Episode 3 disrupts that dynamic by introducing Asunaro as a credible competitor for the role, adding a triangular tension that will likely fuel much of the season's comedy and character development. At the quarter-mark of this 12-episode run, the series is still in setup mode, expanding its core cast and establishing the interpersonal friction that drives its humor. This episode lays the groundwork for how Nagumo, Mashiro, and Asunaro will coexist, and potentially collaborate, as the cases ahead inevitably grow more complex.
