Pretty funny episode throughout. I really liked the whole noir film gag they did for the first part.

Watching them get trapped and forced into a humiliating quiz game where their own embarrassing photos were the stakes felt like a total fever dream to me.

Warm, "grown-up" bar graphics contrast with Mashiro’s energy. Mashiro’s wild reaction to a "mature" drink is the peak moment. In this episode, you can understand that she’s more mature than Nagumo anyway.

Mashiro becomes curious about the mysterious “adult world” surrounding Nagumo’s past work. During the case, she enthusiastically asks questions while Nagumo tries to keep things professional. A mix of comedy with a little detective drama.

Nagumo tries to teach Mashiro about "grown-up society" at a bar. It turns into a hard-boiled disaster because he's just jaded.

This episode leans fully into the power-of-friendship energy and honestly it's so wholesome you almost forget the story is quietly building toward a bigger conflict.

The episode yet again used cliched scenarios mixed with subtle jokes and funny retorts which made the interactions interesting. I love how the episode mixed the detective theme with funny banter and comedic relief. We see the how duo's relationship progress througout the episode.

Another episode that pokes fun of cliché scenario in a detective show, a noir bar scene. This time Mashiro is doing most of the tsukkomi part. Later in the episode, they veered into a jigsaw like scenario then a mad scientist and a parody of TMNT but weird burglar old men?!

Lol “pure white” 😂 They’re just spouting nonsense and pretending to be hard-boiled detectives. It’s so ridiculous it becomes hilarious. Every episode somehow gets funnier. If you just want to laugh and have fun, this anime is perfect.
