Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - The Movie 3: Infinity Castle

The Infinity Castle has been one of the most anticipated arcs in all of Demon Slayer, and this third movie wraps up the trilogy adaptation of that arc — meaning every fight, every confrontation, and every emotional payoff that manga readers have been waiting years to see animated lands here. Tanjiro and the remaining Demon Slayers are deep inside Muzan's labyrinthine fortress, a shifting nightmare of rooms and staircases that basically functions as the final dungeon. The stakes are as high as they get: this is the endgame against the demon king himself, and not everyone is walking out. If you've followed Tanjiro's journey from the moment he found his family slaughtered, this is the conclusion you've been building toward. The emotional weight of everything — Nezuko's curse, the bonds between the Hashira, all of it — converges in this film. Ufotable's animation during the Infinity Castle fights in earlier entries was already jaw-dropping, so expecting them to go even harder for the finale feels reasonable. If you liked the way Attack on Titan handled its final battles with real consequences and gut-punch losses, or if Naruto Shippuden's war arc scratched a similar itch for you but you wished the animation kept up, this is that energy with modern production quality behind it. A proper send-off for one of the biggest shounen series of the last decade.
