Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - The Movie: Mugen Train

Its one of the greatest movies in anime. Rengoku is so badass and so fiery. Zenitsu and Inosuke both had a deep role in this movie. As always Tanjiro, as the protagonist, he really evolves under Rengoku's guidance. I love how they love Rengoku as a big brother.

This movie potrays Tanjiro’s journey of growth and moving forward. And the soundtrack is both deeply emotional and powerfully stirring, to the point that it can bring you to tears.

I read the manga and it was quite good. But I wouldn't watch it again nor read it again (not hating on it, just my preference)

SET YOUR HEART ABLAZE 🔥 What a movie! We left Season One with a new mission. I expected the beautiful visuals, writing, and, of course, the soundtrack, and I got ALL OF THEM. But I didn't expect this movie to end so emotionally. When I saw that there was still time left, I was like, "Oh yay, are we going back to celebrate and train?" and then THAT just happened. Akaza came in and did his stuff, and yeah. When I first watched this movie, the first episode of Season 2 hadn't come out yet. And it hit differently after watching that episode and re-watching this movie again... I just love Rengoku so much, though he's not even my favorite character in the show. It was just so sad. And it made me think how great the manga author is. She basically just used a few chapters to let us fall in love with a character that we barely knew and left us in shock in the end. This is true character writing. What a FANTASTIC 10 out of 10 movie.

This is probably the most emotionally powerful part of the franchise. It's the installment where you'll become the most attached to certain characters as the story unfolds.

I liked the concept but the storyline wasn't deep enough for me to thorough enjoy it. It's one of those where you watch it once, feel "wow" and don't think of it again

Demon slayer is the best show that you never seen this before. This is a very super epic show!!

Nice animation, nice soundtrack, nice story, left me in tears.

Do not watch if you were not ready to feel sad or cry. This movie started slow at the beginning before it suddenly switched to action. We got intense scenes right away, then another action moment occurred that left us speechless and 'doughnut'. Watch if you were mentally ready, skip if you had not watched season 1

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train was one of the most emotional anime movies I’ve watched. The film balanced action, sadness, and character development really well, which made the story feel much more impactful than just a normal action movie. From the start, the atmosphere on the train already felt tense and mysterious, and the movie kept building suspense until the final battle. The highlight of the movie was definitely Kyojuro Rengoku. Before watching, I thought he would just be another strong Hashira, but the movie gave him so much personality and heart that it was impossible not to like him. His energy, optimism, and dedication to protecting people made every scene with him memorable. The fight scenes involving Rengoku were also incredible. The animation looked beautiful, especially during the fire breathing techniques, and the soundtrack made the battles feel even more intense. I also liked how the movie explored the characters’ dreams and emotions. The scenes where Tanjiro Kamado and the others were trapped in their ideal dreams were emotional because they showed what each character truly wanted deep inside. Tanjiro’s dream with his family was especially heartbreaking. The final battle against Akaza completely changed the tone of the movie. What started as a victory quickly became tragic, and the ending left a strong emotional impact. Rengoku’s final moments were painful to watch, but they also inspired the other characters to keep moving forward. Overall, Mugen Train was more than just an action anime movie. It combined emotional storytelling, amazing animation, and unforgettable characters into one of the strongest arcs in the series.

Personally, I think this movie hits deeply for me, because of the great storytelling that shows the selflessness one can be, and also seeing what sacrifice that was made by the slayers in order to protect others was truly admiring.

Set on a train where dreams can be serene yet dangerous, the story builds toward the necessity of waking up. It stands out as a cinematic masterpiece with one of the most emotional conclusions in Demon Slayer.

This movie really sets the tone for what the rest of the series will become, such high stakes it makes your heart BEAT. Rengoku is the GOAT and I was so happy whenever Zenitsu gets some love. One of my favorite anime movies ever for sure!

This season of Demon Slayer was so tense that you need to follow every stride of the sword and their fight. The graphics and animation were so insane. I waited for this to release, even though I finished reading the manga version of this.

The best anime movie that I've ever watched on my life. Everything was perfect for me, the animation, the story, and how characters got their own highlights. The only thing that I don't like about is how short zenitsu's screentime. Hope he got what he deserves on the next movie
