I especially love to see more interactions between the Hashira's. The episode especially shows how much training, discipline and mental condition it takes to become the same level as Hashira's. Love to see Sanemi and Iguro take care of Muichiro as a youngest Hashira in the cohort

The episode fills with character building and story unfolds slowly and gritty training. Must watch episode for all FANS!!!

This ep is mostly watching nameless extras fail miserably while Tanjiro breezes through. Standard training arc stuff. The real treat is the side stuff Muichiro sneaks off to spar with Sanemi and Obanai, and that fight's gorgeous. Makes you wish the whole episode was just that.

This chapter quietly expands the scope. The rules, roles, and expectations of the world feel heavier, and subtle hints suggest everything is aligning toward something inevitable. It rewards attention without shouting.

The pacing of the training felt really grindy, this made the small wins feel much earned. The slayers are still full of passion and determination even with the brutal training. It even left me astonished when they are finally catching up to the Hashira's speed.

The focus shifts to deeper personal struggles as the training arc explores emotional growth alongside physical endurance. The Hashira’s perspectives add weight, and Tanjiro’s determination stands out. It’s calm on the surface, but the pressure underneath keeps building.

This episode feels heavier as well as more personal. This episode highlights Muichiro's bond with Tanjiro as they have many in common. It's a heartwarming episode with clean and powerful visuals as expected. Overall, a good watch.

training under the mist hashira is gloomy to say the least, not much happening in this episode a side from one wholesome moment.
a good episode worth the view or not depends on the viewers perspective in the first 10 minutes I guess

Muichiro goes in depth about his background life. Tanjiro finds out him and Muichiro have the same trainer and have alot in common about their background life. It's a wholesome back story about Muichiro. It shows how deeply connected him and Tanjiro are.

Muichiro’s training is "Git Gud or Get Out." He’s handing out blunt honesty and wooden sword bruises like candy. Tanjiro eventually breaks through the icy exterior with some wholesome paper airplane diplomacy. Who knew origami was a tactical skill?

Episode 4 deepens Tokito's arc with quiet motivation, maintaining steady training momentum toward Infinity Castle stakes. It reinforces smiles amid strife, priming Tanjiro for deadlier trials.

Tokito’s training highlights his respect for Tanjiro, who reminds him of his father. Tanjiro masters the gruelling drills, sparking jealousy in students who notice Tokito’s favouritism. It ends sweetly with paper planes, a rare moment of brotherhood before the war.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting at the halfway mark of the eight-episode Hashira Training Arc, this episode continues Tanjiro's progression through individual Hashira training regimens that began in earlier installments. It builds directly on the groundwork of his recovery and initial sessions, deepening both his skillset and his relationships within the Corps. By advancing to Muichiro's stage, the episode bridges the arc's setup phase and the intensified preparations still ahead as the Demon Slayer Corps braces for its inevitable confrontation with Muzan.
