Episode Context

As the series opener of a 13-episode run, 'Nightmare' functions entirely as foundation, introducing Ryo's psychological torment and the supernatural forces that will define the entire season. There is no prior episode to reference, but the groundwork laid here feeds directly into 'Ritual,' the second episode, where the occult dimensions of Ryo's visions sharpen into something far more dangerous and deliberate.
