Synopsis
Meet Souji Enishiro: a 15-year-old high school dropout who spends his days making the most obnoxious, inflammatory troll content the internet has ever seen under the handle Aoringo. Hate-watchers eat it up, and the ad revenue keeps his little sister's medical bills paid. That's basically his whole world, being an online menace so she can get treatment. Then a malevolent spirit crawls out of the digital void during one of his streams, and suddenly his trolling career is the least of his problems. Turns out the internet in this world isn't just full of metaphorical demons. The digital realm is crawling with actual ghosts, and Souji's brush with one of them unlocks abilities he never knew he had. a power system called cyber-kinesis that lets him fight spirits through technology itself. He ends up pulled into Miden Academy, a school that trains exorcists to deal with these digital threats, which is a rough adjustment for a guy whose main skill set was baiting comment sections. The premise sounds wild, but it works. SynergySP pairs a soundtrack blending shamisen with electronic production against fight sequences that shift between the physical and digital worlds in genuinely creative ways. If you liked the modern exorcist vibe of Blue Exorcist or the scrappy supernatural energy of Noragami, this hits a similar nerve but with its own identity. At 12 episodes it doesn't waste your time, and the way it uses online culture as more than just set dressing gives it something to actually say.

This episode gives us our first glimpse into the series' lore, and it does so in a visually stunning way. The idea of traditional exorcism clashing with technological modernity is a fresh and engaging hook. It breaks with the classic school setting and delivers a great fight scene worthy of a shonen anime.

Classic shounen troupe. The twist was interesting and the power system has the potential to make commentaries of a digital tool changing and influencing the world around us, including its very own culture and new type of youkai or character troupe. A wait and see story
A finale that mirrors the season's central flaw: timely ideas let down by the craft around them. The Sad Boy K–as–AI-yes-man thread is genuinely prescient social commentary. That it ends in a drawn-out ice fight resolved by a convenient statue.
hiyori taking control of ashina's giant ice statue of himself to turn it against him is the most poetic ending this show could have given us and i will not take criticism. the narcissist gets destroyed by his own vanity. they cooked. they just took 11 episodes to light the stove.
Dead Account ends not with a bang but a shrug. The victory feels unearned, the party scene afterwards lands flat, and Sad Boy K looms over it all as a reminder of what the show could have prioritised. A frustrating close to a series that had so much potential.

Ashina is Dead Account's most timely villain yet. The parallel to AI 'yes man' chatbots enabling destructive choices is genuinely sharp. It's a shame the writing around him isn't as smart as the concept beneath him

This episode was a real mid pull, felt like the RNG was against a clean win, but the new waifu designs are still making my wallet sweat for future banners. F2P pain is real.
