📖 SYNOPSIS
Hatsunejima's cherry blossoms never stop blooming — and that's not even the weirdest thing going on. Junichi Asakura is a high school student who can peek into other people's dreams and literally conjure sweets out of thin air. He lives with his adoptive sister Nemu, goes to Kazami Academy, and mostly tries to keep his head down. That quiet routine falls apart when his childhood friend Sakura shows up after six years in America, looking exactly the same as when she left. Old promises resurface, feelings get complicated, and the magical cherry trees hanging over everything start to feel less like scenery and more like a plot device with its own agenda. This is a 26-episode TV series from 2003, adapted from a visual novel by studios feel. and Zexcs, and it does that slow-burn romantic drama thing where the supernatural elements aren't just window dressing — they're tied into what the characters actually feel and want. The harem setup is there, but the show leans more into emotional weight than comedy hijinks. If you liked Clannad or Kanon for the way they mix romance with something bittersweet and slightly otherworldly, this hits a similar frequency. Fans of Shuffle! will also find familiar ground here, though Da Capo trends more melancholic. The soundtrack is genuinely good too — it knows when to pull at you and when to let a scene breathe.
