Episode Context

Coming directly off 'A Blissful Time,' which offered Jun'ichi and Nemu a moment of genuine closeness, episode 20 shatters that calm by forcing the unresolved feelings between all three leads into open conflict. Positioned at the three-quarter mark of a 26-episode run, this is a classic dramatic turning point that transitions the series from its mid-season relationship building into its final arc. It directly sets the stage for 'Sakura's Determination,' where the consequences of this episode's emotional ruptures begin driving characters toward resolution.
