Episode Context

Coming off episode 22's developments, where Nemu regains consciousness and Yoriko shares a significant dream with Jun'ichi, episode 23 pivots to Kotori's emotional reckoning, signaling the series is cycling through its central characters' unresolved threads as it approaches the finale. This confession-driven episode serves as a crucial bridge in the late-season dramatic escalation, resolving Kotori's internal conflict before the narrative shifts again in episode 24, 'The Door into Memories,' which turns attention to Miharu's storyline. With only three episodes remaining, Da Capo is clearly in resolution mode, tying off character arcs one by one.
