I'm really loving how the anime handles curses. They're never just a simple find it and destroy it problem, there's always some mystery and suspense surrounding them. Also, Eiko's final expression? Nope. I already didn't trust her and this episode definitely didn't help. That face is going straight into my nightmares.
Ep 4 completely flips the script. The pace is fast with a dangerous new ghost case, but the sharp writing around the core group’s dynamics steals the show. Combined with some genuinely creepy visual effects, it turns into a wild, dark ride.
