Actually, this episode moves at a deliberate pace in building up the depth of the plot direction through its heavy dialogue. However, it still manages to strike a great balance, which effectively heightens the intense momentum and emphasizes the unexpected revelations and situations. I have to admit, I didn't expect the story's progression to be this totally engaging, even though I thought some of the possibilities might feel a bit predictable, the visual aesthetics, animation, the seiyuu and character development are what really kept me thoroughly hooked.
It's a shame the episodes with a real storyline only started three episodes before the series finale. We have conspiracies, betrayals, shadowy schemes, and while there are some ridiculous moments, the losses are significant and impactful. This episode is one of the best the series has had; the stereotypical villains are a bit annoying, but overall, the episode is much better than the previous ones.
The unexpected bombing scene was incredibly thrilling because it caught me completely off guard.
