Wrapping up the finale by revisiting the series' initial plot direction, which essentially highlights the remarkable growth and development of its cast, particularly the labeled Dame Princes, whose distinct traits and dynamics ultimately prove their true significance and serious commitment to their responsibilities as capable and reliable leaders for their respective nations. Plus, Grimaru's absolute cuteness was a delightful addition to this episode. And honestly, I also lowkey hoped for a bit more focus on specific romantic moments, nevertheless it still works out completely fine because the comedic parody was the focal point of this narrative. And moreover, Princess Ani's reluctant embrace of an anti-romantic vibe ultimately added an extra layer of hilarious charm to the entire story.
Never before in my life have I felt like all the previous episodes were a complete waste of time after watching the finale of an anime. I understand that, being based on an otome game, they couldn't risk giving it a canonical ending, but we literally started at one point and went right back to the same one. Everything reverted to the status quo. I understand it's a comedy anime and that there weren't going to be any permanent losses... but I'm convinced they could have done something with this story beyond just repeating jokes. What a terrible ending.
Teo's sudden arrival to fight for Ani perfectly proves he is truly worthy of being her knight. His quick action shows complete loyalty when she needs it most.
