Episode Context

Episode 15 established the first-years' coordinated trap targeting Ayanokouji during the island exam; this finale picks up as that maneuver unravels and redirects the season's central threats directly toward him at the I2 area. As the 16th and final episode of the first semester arc, it closes out the exam while surfacing consequences and character dynamics, particularly around Tsukishiro, Shiba, and Amasawa, that will shape the second semester going forward.
