Central Park turning into a nightmare was genuinely creepy 😨 The red moon and crying Mary statue gave me chills. Aion finally showing up raises the stakes massively. This episode shifted the tone hard.

We finally put a face to the main villain, this episode was engaging with really interesting dialogue from the antagonist. The stakes are definitely getting higher.

The scene where Aion brutalizes Chrono is genuinely uncomfortable. Satella's hatred of demons is tested as she works alongside Chrono. Azmaria's power is finally unleashed, but it's not a triumphant moment it's a desperate, confusing one.

Episode Context

Arriving just past the quarter mark of this 24-episode series, 'Devil' follows the introduction of Satella and the demonic encounters of 'Jewel Witch,' escalating the supernatural threat level significantly. This episode serves as a crucial pivot point, transitioning from the team-assembly phase into the broader conflict by establishing the main antagonist's growing influence. It directly sets the stage for 'Puppets,' where the consequences of these escalating disturbances begin to unfold.
