The airship battle was intense 💥 Rosette being willing to pay any price to save Azmaria shows how far she'll go. Chrono's true form being hinted at is cool. That double-cross at the end was unexpected.

Azmaria's power being drained against her will is also a dark moment. She's already traumatized, and now she's being used as a battery. The scene where she's forced to emit the Astral Lines is genuinely uncomfortable to watch.

Episode Context

Coming off 'Apostles: The Servants,' which established the central conflict and key relationships, episode 4 accelerates the narrative by putting Rosette, Chrono, and Azmaria directly in harm's way and testing the bonds formed in earlier episodes. Sitting early in a 24-episode run, this is where the show transitions from setup to sustained conflict. It directly sets the stage for 'Militia,' pushing the characters toward new challenges and signaling that the overarching battle against demonic forces will only intensify from here.
