The abandoned church setting was perfect for the final confrontation ⛪ Rosette wanting to cancel her contract with Chrono was devastating. The final battle between Chrono and Aion was intense.

Surely this isn't how the final fight goes down if not it was suboptimal for me. I expected a lot more resistance. Regardless this episode was good, tense and kind of satisfying.

This is the episode where the series delivers its emotional knockout. The final battle with Aion is brutal and satisfying but the real gut-punch comes after, when we see the cost. Chrono and Rosette's deaths are heartbreaking, but also deeply peaceful. They're together, that's what matters.
