The sky battle was insane 🌤️ Chrono fighting Joshua while the city below suffered was intense. Aion capturing Rosette had me screaming at the screen. This show knows how to raise stakes.

This episode was moving and touching, hopefully this isn't one of those shows that the bad guys win. Aion is such a good antagonist, sweet with his words. I look forward to seeing how the show wraps up with the next 4 episodes

This is the darkest episode of the series so far. Chrono turning to stone is a gut-wrenching moment, and Rosette's decision to join Aion even if she's doing it to save people feels like the ultimate betrayal of everything she stands for.

Episode Context

Positioned at episode 20 of 24, 'Poison' sits firmly in the series' endgame escalation, following the major character revelations of 'Head' that reshaped the conflict's stakes. This episode channels that momentum into direct confrontation, serving as a crucial bridge toward the climactic events of 'Magdalene' and the final stretch. If you've made it this far, this is where Chrno Crusade commits fully to its darker trajectory with no turning back.
