Surprising, but I'm starting to enjoy Shinobu and Arata's relationship. They feel similar, but also have difference in beliefs, which is a fun thing to write around. But this episode also showed how Karuta can be adjusted to match their players, which is very unique for a sport.

This ep feels more tense in a quiet way rather than fully intense. You can sense the uneasiness from both sides, and the opponent brings some tricky plays. Things don’t go smoothly at first, but they slowly find their flow again. The ending feels open and keeps you curious.
