Peak slice of life energy. I love how the show isn't afraid to slow down after bigger moments and just let these dorks be high school students again. Their friendship honestly feels more believable because of episodes like this, and the comedy continues to be surprisingly consistent.
i really loved it because it has a cozy slice of life with a balance of comedy, but with high-stakes, tense characters between Erika and Izumi, they have true friends with hilarious with memorable punchlines
I honestly didn't know that the OG source material for this anime was a 4-koma manga but after watching this episode it definitely gave off that impression. The club's celebration was rather short-lived and then they were immediately faced with another problem which was also promptly solved. Because of that, the events felt rather fast with one situation quickly leading into the next. I was hoping this episode would go into more detail about the national tournament and explain some of its rules, but it looks like the series is saving that for a later episode.
