I got the same vibe from this anime as K-ON! but instead of forming a band, it's about a group of cute girls aiming to compete in Olympic target shooting. The characters are introduced well and the series provides some interesting information about the rifles they use during their club activities which adds a nice educational touch. One thing that felt really odd though was the studio's decision to use CGI for both the rifles and the girls' hands whenever they were holding them. It made those scenes look noticeably different from the rest of the animation and felt distracting. I think it would have looked much better if they had either used CGI only for the rifles or avoided CGI altogether.P.S. One of the girls looked really similar to a certain mecha pilot that was hit with spear 😅
The first episode instantly tells you this is not your typical sports anime. Instead of hype speeches you get goofy energy, comfy club vibes, and an actual explanation of beam rifles that somehow never feels boring. Hikari's excitement is ridiculously contagious and the cast already clicks.
I love the first episode, thanks to the animation with very small details. featuring genre sports with shooting feels unique, and the emphasis on equipment and physics adds a light tone giving friendly vibe to Hikari and her team's journey
