Good thing someone was there to save her, and for the 2nd time around the freaking mysterious handsome Male lead was there when she needed help

Episode Context

This episode picks up directly in the aftermath of Aya's devastating first encounter with her celestial power and the violent fracturing of her family life in Episode 1. It functions as an immediate expansion of that fallout, shifting from raw shock to the first steps of a larger conflict, introducing key allies who will anchor Aya's journey through the remaining 22 episodes. The groundwork laid here, particularly the introduction of the Aogiri household and the ambiguity surrounding Toya, shapes the central tensions that will define the rest of the season.
