Episode Context

Arriving at the midpoint of the 24-episode run, this episode builds directly on the revelations uncovered in 'Relic of the Mikage,' sharpening the focus on Aki's transformation and what it means for Aya and the Mikage family's dark legacy. It functions as a connective bridge, consolidating the emotional fallout of recent discoveries while deliberately positioning Toya's enigmatic past as the next major thread. The groundwork laid here makes 'Toya's Past' feel like an earned escalation rather than a detour.
