Synopsis
Running on fumes and barely holding it together, salaryman Koutarou Murata has one escape from the grind: sitting in the stands at his local baseball stadium. Not playing, just watching, eating overpriced food, and soaking in the atmosphere. Then he meets Ruriko, a new beer vendor who's energetic, a little pushy, and determined to make him her first sale. He caves, and from there the two fall into this easy rhythm of banter and teasing every time he shows up to a game. That's basically the setup: no grand conflict, no dramatic stakes, just a tired guy and a chatty beer girl slowly becoming friends in the middle of a crowd. The 12-episode TV series, adapted from a seinen manga by EMT Squared, leans into the communal vibe of the ballpark itself, rotating through different fans in the stands who each have their own small, genuine stories. Fumio Iida's character designs give everyone a distinct personality, and the Monaca soundtrack keeps things breezy without overdoing it. The whole thing feels like a warm evening at the park: low-pressure, good company, nothing forced. If you liked the adult slice-of-life comfort of something like Futakoi Alternative, or the gentle character dynamics in Strawberry Panic but wanted something more grounded and less dramatic, this hits that spot. It's a show about finding small moments of connection when the rest of your life is exhausting, and it earns those moments honestly.

Cute and fun series that badly needs to have the manga localized. It’s only shortcoming is how short the episodes are
perfect ending honestly. everyone gets their moment and the final montage had me emotional. 😭
playoff episode and i was genuinely stressed the whole time lol. The game tension and the vendor chaos is so good and when the crowd erupts the soundtrack goes crazy.😮
getting backstory on why everyone ended up at the stadium was really nice, adds a lot of weight to their everyday stuff. the sunset lighting in the second half looked really warm and pretty.

ruriko watching a game as a normal fan on her day off was such a fun change of pace. nothing too wild happens but its one of those super relaxing episodes you just vibe with.
sports journalism episode that hit way harder than i thought it would. the late night stadium cleanup scenes with that quiet piano were actually really beautiful. ❤️❤️
all star game chaos and it never slows down once lol. the 3D crowd models are a little rough but the voice acting carries it hard. had a big dumb smile the whole episode. 😁

Kung chill mo lang napanood ang series, eto yung episode na magpapa-realize sayo kung bakit sulit sundin hanggang dulo. Ruriko stole the show talaga. Perfect build-up sa finale.
Palaging uplifting ang episode. Parang pinapaalala na kahit mahirap ang buhay, may lugar na puno ng suporta tulad ng ballpark.
Episode 9 ay comfy, funny, at touching sa tamang dosis. Hindi siya may malalaking plot twists, pero iyon mismo ang lakas ng series na 'to — slice-of-life na puno ng small, relatable moments na nagpaparamdam ng warmth.
