I honestly love how the team dynamics are evolving. It is easily my favorite chapter so far and so much fun to watch.

Episode Context

Positioned one-third into the season, Episode 4 pivots from Episode 3's broader mascot and mythology gags to zero in on individual staff members like Nagisa and Ruriko, deepening the ensemble cast. It builds on the communal foundation established in the first three episodes while quietly introducing interpersonal dynamics that feed into Episode 5's 'Ticks Me Off!' and its emerging character tensions. This is a character-investment episode, the kind that pays off later when the stakes between these people start to shift.
