Episode Context

As the first of twelve episodes, this premiere exists entirely to establish the ballpark as a living, breathing setting and to anchor the central dynamic between Murata and Ruriko. No prior context is needed, everything starts here. Subsequent episodes are expected to expand the cast and explore the wider community of regulars and staff, but this opener makes clear that the Murata-Ruriko connection is the emotional throughline the season will build around.
