Episode Context

Coming off 'Return from the Myth,' which established the stakes of the human resistance and Casshan's confrontation with the Black King's forces, this episode pivots inward to explore the personal cost of that larger conflict. Luna's mission here carries critical strategic weight that bridges individual struggle with broader resistance goals. It directly sets up 'Blitz on the Bridge,' where the series shifts back toward tactical confrontation and escalating action.
