Episode Context

As the first of four episodes, this is pure foundation, the series has no runway to waste, and 'Return from the Myth' uses its runtime to lock in the world, the stakes, and the central characters before things accelerate. There is no preceding episode to build from; everything the viewer needs to understand the conflict is seeded here. It leads directly into 'Journey to the Past,' which shifts focus inward to explore the personal histories and motivations driving Casshan and Luna forward.
