EPISODE REVIEWS
A classic, suspenseful military espionage chapter. The visual palette shifts to dark, atmospheric blues and murky greys as the crew navigates a treacherous, fog-covered harbour. The animation thrives on subtle environmental effects, using flickering searchlights and heavy rain textures to elevate the tension during the quiet, covert operations.
There's a smidgen of improvement between Aoba and Dio, but nothing major. There are still power imbalance in their dynamic when Aoba knows more and is interested in knowing Dio, without it being reciprocated. So far there's no interesting military tactics as the cast seemed to focus on improving the big guns instead of outsmarting the enemies, which I'm not a fan of.
