Episode Context

Bucchigiri?! hits its stride at the near-midpoint with an episode that leans hard into its signature chaos. The gang rivalry between Minato Kai and Siguma Squad ratchets up another notch, but this isn't a straight action affair, expect the show's trademark absurdist comedy front and center, as the title's bizarre shrimp imagery suggests. MAPPA keeps the energy high with brisk pacing that bounces between laugh-out-loud gags and genuinely tense supernatural developments surrounding the blue djinn. Arajin, Matakara, and the unpredictable Shindo Akutaro all get meaningful screen time as the series weaves its delinquent brawling with increasingly strange mystical elements. The tone walks a tightrope between slapstick irreverence and creeping unease, making it the kind of episode that keeps you guessing what genre you're actually watching.
