Ikuyo's Struggle
Ikuyo struggles with the dual task of singing and playing guitar, finding the coordination unexpectedly difficult. She worries about her stage presence, believing she must energize the audience as the vocalist. Despite her frustration, Ikuyo quickly redoubles her efforts, determined to master both roles for the band's sake. It is a commitment born from a clear sense of responsibility.
Hitori's Practice
Hitori slips into a peculiar, intense practice, head-banging with her guitar in a way that is distinctly her own. Ryo enters, observing Hitori's unusual display with a flat expression, asking if it is a new performance style. Ikuyo misinterprets it as admirable dedication. Hitori is merely embarrassed, her private world briefly exposed.
The First Meeting
Nijika calls the band members to a meeting, signaling a shift from individual practice to collective planning. She sets the agenda: how to evolve into a 'real band'. Nijika stresses the importance of bonding and forging a shared identity beyond just their music. Ikuyo enthusiastically agrees, while Hitori retreats into silent apprehension, feeling overwhelmed.
Zip Tie Merch
Nijika proudly unveils their first attempt at band merchandise: colorful plastic zip ties. She insists these represent their 'unity' as Kessoku Band, a clever play on words. Hitori handles one, finding it sharp and cheap, internally questioning the path to stardom these mundane items represent. Ryo, ever the opportunist, immediately suggests selling them for profit, signed for an even higher price.
Social Media Strategy
Ikuyo proposes creating an 'Isosuta' social media account, recognizing its importance for reaching fans in the modern era. Nijika quickly appoints her the official 'SNS Minister', a role Ikuyo embraces with zeal, promising daily stylish updates. Ryo then takes the marketing ideas to an extreme, suggesting a fan club with a steep membership fee and absurd benefits. Nijika swiftly dismisses Ryo's fantastical scheme, reminding her they first need actual fans before forming a club.

!!

My heart actually hurt when Bocchi was struggling to write those generic happy lyrics, because she thought that was what a band was supposed to be, but I love that Ryo stepped in and told her to just be herself instead of a fake, and it makes me feel better about not being a bubbly person since the lyrics she finally wrote were so much better
