Bocchi making beatboxing noises when Kita talked to her in the hallway was so awkward and relatable at the same time and that embarrassment really came through the screen

My heart went out to Bocchi when she was playing that sad blues song in the stairwell and it sounded so lonely and perfect for her mood

I really felt that moment where Bocchi drags her guitar to school and just sits there waiting for someone to notice her because I used to do the exact same thing with books in high school and it never worked for me either but seeing her finally ask Kita to stay for the band was huge

I actually died laughing when Bocchi started human beatboxing in the hallway and her face just completely melted off from the embarrassment

You have to feel for Kita because she thought she bought a guitar but it was a six string bass and Ryo just immediately scammed her for it

Watching Ryo eat weeds in the background because she spent all her money on a bass while Kita struggles with the F chord is actually hilarious

It is so funny how Nijika and Ryo just accepted Kita back into the band, but Ryo being a deadbeat who eats weeds, especially after buying that bass

You really get to see how much of a mess Kita is in her own way when she admits she ran away because she lied about playing guitar

EPISODE CONTEXT

Episode 3 builds directly on the band's initial formation established in Episode 2, shifting focus from 'can this band exist?' to 'can this band actually grow?' — a critical early-season pivot. It functions as a bridge episode that deepens interpersonal dynamics while expanding the cast, laying essential groundwork for the mid-season stretch where Kessoku Band's identity and cohesion will be tested more seriously. At the quarter-mark of this 12-episode run, the show is still in setup mode but moving with clear momentum toward its larger arcs around performance and belonging.
