Haryu calling her "Chii" had me so jealous for Taiki! But seeing them bond over their shared goals for Nationals is so pure. I love how hard they work!

This episode felt like "peak romcom" moment. The pacing was smooth and kept you hooked into the story. I really like "childish" battle between Taiki and Haryu! 😂. The animation stays gorgeous and the I like how Taiki blending with everyone!

Episode Context

Episode 3 follows directly from Taiki's growing admiration for Chinatsu established in Episode 2, pivoting toward the emotional cost of proximity, specifically the jealousy and self-doubt triggered by Haryu. This episode functions as critical groundwork for Taiki's resolve to improve both as a player and a person, feeding directly into Episode 4, 'If He Wins,' where those stakes are expected to crystallize around competition.
