Yusa's Dominance
The gymnasium buzzes with activity, a familiar cacophony of effort and ambition. Yusa, with his focused intensity, easily outmaneuvers his opponent, demonstrating a sharpened skill. Other players, including Taiki, watch with a mixture of respect and awe. Yusa’s victory is not just a win; it is a statement of his formidable presence on the court.
Rivalry and Rest
Yakushiji, ever the provocateur, attempts to needle Yusa after his win. Yusa, however, is too absorbed in his own ambitions, conserving energy for a looming match against Haru. His determination is clear, a singular focus on overcoming a specific rival. It is during this exchange that Taiki Inomata is identified as Yusa's next opponent, a detail Yusa notes with a flicker of recognition.
The Fateful Match Begins
Taiki steps onto the court, the weight of past failures evident in his posture and expression. He recalls moments of surprise, shock, and intense effort from previous matches, all culminating in a resounding defeat. This history hangs over him as he faces Yusa, a formidable opponent who defeated him before. The court, illuminated by golden light, feels less like a stage for triumph and more like an arena for a reckoning.
Hina's Support, Chinatsu's Fear
From the second-floor railing, Hina watches with open excitement, her enthusiasm a stark contrast to Chinatsu's anxiety. Chinatsu hides, unable to watch Taiki potentially relive a devastating loss. She admits she does not know what to say to him if he loses again, revealing a past shared pain. Hina gently urges her to confront her fears, stressing the importance of witnessing Taiki's effort, regardless of the outcome.
A Glimmer of Hope
Taiki hits the shuttlecock hard, dropping to one knee, then scores a point. Hina erupts in excited cheers, pointing to the court. For a moment, the tension in Chinatsu's face softens, a brief respite from her worry. This small victory, however fleeting, injects a flicker of hope into the match, even as other players notice the strength of Taiki's opponent.
The Unveiling of a Secret
Two onlookers, initially discussing the match, pivot to gossip about Taiki and Chinatsu. One asks if they are dating, prompting Chinatsu to reveal their living arrangement. She explains their mothers are friends and a vacant room led to her moving in. The revelation shocks the other student, who comically expresses alarm, warning Chinatsu about the 'beastly' nature of young men.
Chinatsu's Inner World
Amidst the match, Chinatsu's thoughts drift, conjuring tender images of time spent with Taiki. Their intertwined hands, their shared moments of study and leisure, all flash across the screen. These memories underscore the depth of her connection to him and the personal investment she has in his well-being. It is a quiet testament to the affection that binds them, even as she grapples with her anxieties.
Taiki's Burden
Taiki is overcome by self-reproach, regretting his youthful ambition to reach Inter-High. The score, 1-5, reflects his struggle. He chastises himself for past overconfidence, recalling a time he felt superior after a set win against Haru. Now, facing the harsh reality of defeat, a single tear rolls down his cheek. He is alone on the court, feeling the full, crushing weight of responsibility and failure.
EPISODE REVIEWS

Gran partido de Taiki, si te gusta el lado deportivo de la serie este sin duda es un must watch.

I did not expect to get so invested in the senpais’ love life, but here we are! It adds such a nice layer to the show to see a more "mature" relationship compared to the main trio.

The practice match against Yusa shows how much Taiki improved in his game. I like his internal thoughts and his position energy throughout the match. The pacing was good and the match in the half half, felt like I was watching Haikyuu. And that dream at the episode end!? Wild😆
