This episode first half showed some of Saeki Sayaka's side of story and the other part was about Yuu story. Overall this episode is also worth watching because of the character relationship development between each other.

They're so adorable! This episode is so cute! Sure there are awkward/tense moments but you forget them later into the episode because of the cute moments that happen. This episode is a light episode and definitely worth watching. I love the symbolism with the flowers too!!

I love how the show captures those quiet, lingering glances. Touko is clearly struggling with her mask but Yuu is being so patient. It is honestly peak romance.

Episode Context

Sitting just past the midpoint of this 13-episode season, Episode 8 builds directly on the emotional groundwork laid in Episode 7's character revelations, deepening the audience's understanding of Sayaka while simultaneously pushing the Yuu-Touko dynamic into more vulnerable territory. This is a pivotal transitional episode, it consolidates the emotional stakes established in the first half and positions the characters for the more consequential developments that begin unfolding in Episode 9 and beyond.
