Bloom Into You

Synopsis
Meet Yuu Koito, a girl who loves romance, at least in theory. She reads shoujo manga, listens to love songs, daydreams about the day someone confesses to her. Then it actually happens, a boy tells her he loves her at graduation, and she feels... nothing. Not sadness, not excitement, just a hollow sort of confusion. She starts to wonder if maybe she's just broken somehow. Then she meets Touko Nanami, the effortlessly composed student council president who coolly turns down a confession of her own. Yuu thinks she's found a kindred spirit, someone who gets it. Except Touko turns around and confesses feelings for Yuu instead, and now things are complicated in a completely different way. Bloom Into You is a 13-episode TV series from TROYCA that handles its central relationship with a patience you rarely see in romance anime. It's not rushing toward dramatic love confessions or manufactured drama. It's more interested in the quiet, uncomfortable question of what it means when everyone around you seems to feel something you don't, and what happens when someone makes you start to question that. The animation is subtle in the best way, catching small glances and hesitations that say more than dialogue. If you liked the emotional honesty of Kare Kano or want something with the gentle warmth of Wataten but more grounded and introspective, this one's worth your time. It's tender without being saccharine, and it treats its characters like real people figuring themselves out.

yuu ❤️
The dialogue in this is actually amazing and never gets boring or cliche. My ONLY complaint is that the anime is unfinished and probably will never be. So I just read the manga it was just that good. Top romance anime
Thank you AnimeOshi for giving me another chance to rewatching this masterpiece. As I mentioned during my rating of episode 10, Yagate Kimi Naru had always been my favorite shoujo ai anime to the point I even read all chapters of the manga and even bought all the light novel including Saeki Sayaka side story light novel (opps a bit of TMI there). Anyway I couldn't even count the times I had rewatched this anime but no matter how many times it had been this is still my always go to shoujo ai anime. Even though the anime ended in the middle of the story it was still consider a great shoujo ai anime for me as the animation, soundtrack and the details is just perfect in my own opinion.
aaaa they are so cute and yuu is so awkwarddd, cant wait for their development in relationship
straight to the kiss and confessing is crazyyyyyyy
i support my lesbians but why did she do that on the first episode LMAO finally watching this my girlfriend !!
Well this conclude the whole anime series but there are still a lot of story and characters development after this. Viewers can consider to read the manga/light novel to find out more about the story after this anime adaption that I personally think it will be worth it.
Here goes my favorite moment in the whole series. The quote inside this episode from Nanami-senpai still staying with me as those words is really having a huge impact for me when I first saw it. Overall, definitely a worthwhile episode.
Here's another worthwhile episode as this episode reveal some of the emotions that had been pent up in each character. And dare I said this is when Yuu starts to feel more concern for Nanami-senpai.
Another climax episode. The slow-motion animation plus the soundtrack plus the character expression plus the background is just perfect in my own opinion. Wish I can comment more about the story but not gonna spoil anything here, so just watch it to find out the hype.
This episode first half showed some of Saeki Sayaka's side of story and the other part was about Yuu story. Overall this episode is also worth watching because of the character relationship development between each other.
This episode was focused more on Saeki Sayaka side of story which I found really impressive. Saeki Sayaka is one of my favorite characters in the series. I can't really explain why, but I just like the way how she is. Anyway this is also one of the worth watching episode.
This episode contains moments that I am really fond of, such as Nanami-senpai true feelings about why she fall in love with Yuu and how did Yuu came to realize she must be with Nanami-senpai.
Touko and Yuu are just so cute. But the part I feel most cute was how they are so comfortable with each other. Overall, this was a cute episode in my opinion.
Another iconic episode that features an intense scene. There is new character development in this episode. Once again, the animation is really impressive.
This episode mainly focuses on the progress of Nanami-senpai running for the school president. There is also a little bit of character development in this episode. Overall, it was an episode worth watching.
Omg "I only know you" I'm bawling. This episode is so cute. The anime ends really fast but at least we get to see that all the characters will be okay and happy. The aquarium date was adorable :((
So conflicting! Yuu is falling for Touko more and more, and now she wants to change the ending for Touko's character in the play, and also Touko in real life. Yuu just wants the best for Touko. This episode is so good. They're so cute.
This episode is a must watch. We get to find out how Touko's sister really was to the Student Council Club, and how that affects Touko. We get cute scene of all the members of the club goofing around. Oops..we have one big issue getting in the way of Yuu and Touko's relationship!
Nothing much happens in this episode as well, other than us getting a little bit more information on Touko's trauma surrounding what happened to her sister. The pacing for this one is also a bit slow, feeling like a filler episode.
