Wait didn't Ichigo just finish fighting Grimmjow in Hueco Mundo. Now he is back at school like everything is fine and I am so confused by the timeline right now

Episode Context

Sitting at episode 169 of 366, this follows the introduction of Captain Shūsuke Amagai and pushes deeper into the filler arc bearing his name, which bridges the gap between the Hueco Mundo storyline's major beats. The episode builds on the previous installment's setup by expanding the cast with original characters whose storylines will intertwine with Ichigo's crew. It functions as an early-arc bridge episode, laying groundwork for the conflicts and alliances that will define this non-canon stretch.
