Getting to see more of Kira was cool because he usually just stands around in the background and I think Amagai might be a good addition

Stopping the main story right after the Grimmjow fight just to give us this random new guy is annoying and skipping this whole arc seems like the best move

I was really into the Hueco Mundo stuff and now the show is back in the Soul Society for filler and it feels weird but Amagai seems cool enough for a new captain
